Update!

So I have not written in a while, a long while, so an update is in order. First is May, the boys had their last day of school and Ryan and I had our 9 year anniversary.
In June we celebrated Ryley's 7th birthday and went camping with Ryan's family, a tradition we had done for the past couple of years.
July was my 10 year high school reunion along with all the July holidays.
August brought my birthday, Irelynn's 2nd birthday and a new school year for Corwynn and Ryley.
September was just another month full school, work and play.
October was a fun month with Halloween and my brother coming home off his mission.
November was Corwynn's 9th birthday and Thanksgiving which we got to celebrate at the fire station with Ryan and his crew.
December of course was Christmas, but also my first vacation away from my husband and kids! My dad, his girlfriend Lisa and my little brother Max went to Las Vegas and then to Disneyland. It was so much fun!!! Christmas was great also but I wish there was snow!!

So the boys came up laughing one day, come to find out they drew all over Aydian's face while he slept. It was funny I'll admit that, but rude all at the same time. Aydian had no clue until we showed him in the mirror and then he cared. It came off pretty easily, but had some scrubing involved.

So for Easter every year Ryan's mom does a Easter egg hunt and candy fight with all the kids and grandkids. Every year it's interesting and more and more intense. thankfully this year no one broke or tore apart a basket. Memories!!!

So, where do I start? My Aunt started her chemo on a Monday and Monday night was in the hospital with an allergic reaction to chemo. After many tests it is confirmed that she is infact allergic to the drug that kills the cancer. What else can my poor Aunt go threw????
I was home alone a week or so ago and was woken up by the chimes going off on my door, which means someone was coming or going threw my door. SCARED me to death!!!! The only thing I could think of was to call the cops, so 911 was called and cops went threw my house. No one there, yet man did I feel more comfortable knowing my kids and I were safe. I felt like a fool the day after but, like the cops and Ryan both said "better safe than sorry." I am trying to talk Ryan into letting me have a gun, yet our heads I think will always butt together on that issue! I need to have a yappy dog for indoors, mass, stun gun, or a nice pink bat will help me put my nerves on ice.

So I have no new photo's for right now, sorry. I will get some up soon, but since my little sister says I need to keep up my blog so she know's what's going on I thought I would just write for today. I can feel spring coming and man does it feel wonderful!!!! The grass is green and the buds are showing on the trees. I see flowers popping up everywhere and it's beautiful!!!!!
We just found out last week and my aunt has cancer and this week found out that she has about a year without Chemo but with Chemo her percent for remission is high. So there goes her hair and basically her health for a long while, lets pray this works!!!
Knowing your mortalily is near the end is most likly scary for that person, whether you are old, have some health problems or a bad accident it can not be a fun thought to think about. For the people that have to stay behind is scary, painful, and plain out misserable. But, to have the plan of salvation is comforting to say the least.
Sickness and our family has seen each other way to much and hopefully it will leave for a while and not come back for a visit anytime soon. This month has been so busy with sickness, work, school, family, doctor's, and life. I am excited for summer to come and for lazy hot days, yet then I will miss something from these days, so I just need to enjoy everyday.

Ryan turned 32 this January and I took him to dinner and let him get some clothes and fire things. Aydian turned 4 this January and we let Corwynn and Ryley stay home from school to help us celebrate. We went to get him a hat and the boys wanted one too, so they all got one. We then went to the Pirate Pizza place in Orem and Irelynn was not having the pirate!!! She wanted far from that scary looking creature!! It was a fun day but boy were we tired after all of that excitment.My brother Brixton also had a birthday and so Aydian wanted a picture with him since they both had green on, how cute is he!!

Since we have moved in I have wanted a door way from the entry to the kitchen but Ryan has always been against it. So I took matters into my own hands and called my Grandpa Hakes over to tell me how hard it would be to basically put a hole in the wall. Long story short my grandpa came over and the process started. I LOVE IT and Ryan is loving it too, see women do know what is best for the house!!!!

My baby turned 8, can you believe it? I can't!!!! He got baptized and man was that cute. He kept his eyes open when he went under the water, who knows why?! He feels so grown up now. I am so very proud of my son for being such a good example and loving his little brothers and sister. He loves to play video games and reading, which he is really good at!! Update on Irelynn

So little miss Ire has been through a lot in her little life. She always has red under her eyes, so we went to a allergenist and he didn't do much then to the doctor where said that she has sensitive skin, so to the dermetologist we went. We have been twice now and she has a steroid cream that if she gets bad a can do a five day treatment and then stop and then start up again when her next flare comes. He dosen't know exactly what it is so here are a few options: 1: her skin in more magnified then others so any little thing will set it off, sun, sunblock, a scrath things like that. 2: she could have lupas due to the butterfly rash that accures, which Ryan and I don't think she has but will see in a year to come. So for now we will deal with her face always having red, big sores or blisters on it.

Corwynn has started 2nd grade and can we say excited!! He is such a bright boy and I think he can go far!! He loves school and mostly being there with his friends. I can't believe he's in 2nd grade.

Ryley went to first grade this year. He was accepted into Reagan Academy and we were all excited, but after the first week of him crying not to go to school and crying coming home Ryan and I could'nt take it anymore. So we pulled out of there and put him in school with Corwynn. Sad but I guess you have to be happy to be able to learn.
Ryley is such a sweet heart and loves art so here's hoping he can channel his ADD and put it to good use.

Well our trip to Disneyland and the beach was wonderful!! There is sooooo many pictures to choose from so forgive me if there is to many. We got our family photo and I wish it was a little different, first thing is that one of us should of been holding Irelynn! Second is that the harnesses were off the boys, we put them on thinking it would be was easier. Yet only an hour into rides and lots of smiles later they were taken off. I can't complain though this is a good family rememberence photo!

So Aydian asked if he could have a cupcake, I told him no not yet. After a while I walked into the living room and this is what I found. So last weekend since Tiffani, John and their kids were down we had the chance to get together at Dad's house for Breakfast.It was soooo cute Alexis and Madison wanted to hold and touch Irelynn, which was to cute. We got grandkid pictures other than Brayton (due to him only being a few weeks old, so coming out of the house is not an option. Smart mommy and daddy!!!). We will get pictures with him when he is a little older. We also got family pics even though I looked horrible. It was a busy weekend for us!! So my Grandpa Rodney came into town last week. I was so excited to see him and Grandma Louis, it's been over two years since I've seen them. I thought this is going to be so much fun, but as it turned out she was mad the whole time I was taking pictures. So NO cute smiles, all screams! I LOVE the photo with her thumb in her mouth, she puts it in her mouth when she is tired or really mad but she dosen't suck it oh no, she chomps on it. I guess that is a good thing that she doesn't suck it lets hope she dosen't learn that is an option.

For Aydian's birthday I was making a cake. I went into the living room to talk to Ryan and Aydian came in with chocolate all over his face. He thought it was a riot that he had gotten away with something. I couldn't help but laugh at him, but then I went back into the kitchen and saw he had eaten the frosting off of the spatula I was using and not out of the jar. Well Corwynn and Ryley would not stand for him getting some and not them, so that leads to the picture with all of them having frosting on their faces!! You gotta love it.

We started on Monday and have only had four accidents since, all within the first two days. He has been the easiest one to potty train so far. I am so excited for our forty dollar raise we get from not having to buy him diapers!!!! Does anyone understand how excited I am?????

So we made it through Chrsitmas and New Years with all the kids taking turns being sick. At least they were sick while school was out, I guess that was the only good thing about it, you know what I mean.
Corwynn lost his tooth while at school so the tooth fairy came to out house, I wish I could get money under my pillow!! Ryley is really becoming a independent little boy, which is scaring me. Soon my little boys will not be little boys anymore so I need to soak in all the cute things they are doing now! Aydian is starting to potty train only when he feels like it!! I hope he goes all the way here soon.

So my boys have had a "No Girls Club" and informed me that I was not allowed, yet teenage girls are. I called Ryan to tell him we were in trouble! So time has passed and yesterday I was getting everyone ready to go see Daddy at the fire station. I told Corwynn and Ryley to go get jackets on, when they came back up they decided to switch jackets so that they could work out at the fire station. (why they needed to switch jackets, I have no clue!) They started to do strong man arms and looked at me with no doubt in their eyes that HOT girls will want them if they work out. WHAT!!!!!! As a mother I am confussed at where this came from, yet as Corwynn is now in 1st grade he has some interesting things to say. I hope the girls have cootes comes soon!!! These boys have the craziest ideas in their heads, that's for such. Yet ya gotta love them.

We went to Bridalveil Falls and had a good time. The boys loved the water and all the rocks to take pictures on when they climbed up on them. Even tho the rocks were small they thought it was fun!!! What a great family outing.

So the other night Ryan was putting the boys to bed and I was up stairs taking care of Irelynn, I heard some crying and yelling, (which is not uncommon) and then Ryan appears at the top of the stairs with a sad look on his face. I asked what happened and he said the boys told him he was "a mean dad" because he wouldn't let them have their stuffed aniamls. I reasuured him that they still loved him, but that didn't help his heart, so he walked back to the play room and come out with their stuffed animals. I started laughing!!!!!!! He gave them their stuffed animals so they didn't think that he was "a mean dad". Ya gotta love it!

So Aydian is becoming a big boy, so of course he has to do his own hair. First he has to get it wet, then put product in and then use his comb. Ryan and I laughed when we saw the outcome, he was so proud!

So I got out the bucket of Halloween clothes and the boys have been having fun. We put Irelynn in the Fire Hydrant Custom, it is for a six month old. Her head looks like a little pin in a big pin cushion.

So these are the boys first day of school photos. They are so excited, yet that wore off. Corwynn hates going all day, hopefully that will ware off. Don't they look so handsome!!

So our daughter was finally born!!! She weighed 5 lbs 14 oz, my smallest baby yet. I'm so tired yet thrilled to be at home with my energetic and VERY excited boys. Daddy is all smiles when he looks at Irelynn or holds her, it is sooooooo cute.

So the hospital put this device on Irelynn's foot for security reasons. If anyone tries to leave the floor with her the alarm will go off. Our poor little daughter is already in a life of crime.
